Ford Europe commissioned us to produce their "recyclone" to be used as the focal point of their display for the London Motor show and the Eden Projects "sexy green car show"

Working from just concept drawings with basic dimensions we were asked to produce the stainless steel and mild steel exhibition piece.

The top half required several progressive windings in tubular steel, starting at 1 meter diameter and ending at 6 meters diameter, all of which could easily be joined together to form one continual spiral.
|
|
The lower half was produced in 3 sections of brushed stainless steel, this made transporting them easier but still allowed foor a fast and easy assembly.
|
|
The recyclone represents fords continuing drive to recycle as much of it products as possible.
